Description / colour / Consistency: A dark brown liquid that is thick and viscous, this absolute has been dewaxed and is liquid in warmer weather. If not fluid, it should be placed in a hot water bath in order for the absolute to liquefy.

Aromatic Summary / Note / Strength of Aroma: A top note with a medium aroma, Vanilla has a sweet, rich and delicious. Being that this is an absolute oil the scent is highly concentrated, only a few drops are needed. Vanilla is one of the most sought after essential oils being that it is so very comforting and associating itself with so many good memories.

Blends With: Bergamot, Grapefruit, Lemon, Mandarin, Orange, Sandalwood, and Vetiver.

Note: Vanilla is immiscible in water and oil; soluble in ethanol only, it will leave a sediment. This product contains vanillin, an organic aldehyde which will affect the colour in soaps and body-care products. Not suitable for candle use. Avoid very high concentrations in skin-care products.
